It’s really easy to let someone else steal your value.

You have certain hopes, expectations, desires and dreams. And the next thing you know, because of something someone said, did or didn’t do, you find yourself suffering from “The Dreaded D’s”: Devalued, Discouraged, Disappointed, Downhearted, Disempowered, and altogether Depressed. It’s a Dark, Disturbing place to be.

Take a breath. Just quiet yourself. Then read Psalm 139, where you Discover just how incredible valuable you are to God, the Maker of the universe, the Lover of your soul.

Now look in the mirror. You may need to wipe some tears away, and that’s okay. Look at the woman who has the strength to look back. The courage to still be standing even in the midst of all those D’s. Now speak out loud to her and yourself, I am a child of the living God. I am priceless. I am worthy. My Dreams, goals, Desires and expectations are valid. With God’s help I will pursue my plans, passions and purpose.

Now take another breath and remember… no matter what anyone in earth says, you realized in this moment who you are, Whose you are, and the incredible future set before you.

Blow that woman in the mirror a kiss and walk into that future with your head held high. You got this.
